SGI

It’s the last day of February. Alan was up early this morning so he went to watch the sunrise. He saw the full moon setting as the sun was coming up.

Yesterday he kayaked in the bay searching for the white pelicans that are wintering here. We have seen them from a distance. Unfortunately they weren’t in the bay where we had seen them previously. He enjoyed the outing anyway and went to a sandbar thanks to the low tide.

It’s a gorgeous day so we eat lunch at Lynn’s and opt for outside dining. We ate oysters and watched the pelicans – food and entertainment!

We returned home and spent time on the beach. Any day that you can put your toes in the sand is a good day!

And last night was the full moon which meant sunset at the cut and moonrise on the beach! It’s hard to capture the beauty of the full moon without a “real” camera, but we try. Alan got creative with his wine glass in the photos.
