Mountains weekends

St. Patrick’s Day weekend and we are spending it with friends – Mark and Sarah O’Brien, Davis Jackson, and Teresa Teasley. We have had some gorgeous weather!

Pictures – The O’Briens can park their RV on the driveway/parking pad. David changed the door handle on his vehicle. That man is super handy and can fix almost anything. He hit his knee on something while working and rolled on the ground in pain. A perfect photo op 😣. And finally a pic of 3 of the pickleball addicted folks watching some tournament on tv!
I went on several walks through Mountain Lakes.
And again – I’m the luckiest!

Thursday, March 21 – After some time in AL, I am back at the mountains with my best Moultrie girls – Karen and Deidre. We met at Gibbs Gardens to start our girl time. It was a beautiful day. We ate lunch on the grounds before walking about.

We took a few selfies! We first walked through the daffodil fields.
We walked through up to the Manor House, then through the Japanese garden, viewed the blooming cherry blossoms, and finally to the tulip beds.
A wonderful way to start our time together.

Friday, March 22 –

It is cooler and rainy today. We had a leisurely morning at the cabin before going to Frogtown Winery for lunch. There were koi ponds with hungry fish near the entrance.
We really liked the venue. We drove behind Frogtown to Three Sisters winery and discovered a bison ranch beside it. I googled it and found that the bison have only been here about a month.
We drove from Frogtown Winery to Mountain Fresh Creamery stopping by Allison’s Honey and its new Testanee Winery. Some purchases were made today.

We spent our evening indoors eating our leftovers and watching Damsel and American Nightmare in front of a fire.

Saturday, March 23

Morning coffee and a view at Jumping Goat. It looks like another beautiful day.
We strolled through Helen. It’s been a long time since I’ve done that. We ate Muller’s Fried Cheese – splitting a plate is the way to go!Then we walked the Helen to Hardman Heritage Trail.

For further excitement, we visited Antiques and Art and Dollar General! We spent our last evening at home eating a pizza supper and watching Irish Wish and Family Switch. The latter made me chuckle.

And then Sunday morning, my girls packed up and headed to south Ga. It goes by so quickly!
